Arabia: Hajj ends, the H1N1 virus has not spread

The great pilgrimage Muslim Mecca "took place without the spread of disease or pandemic," said Sunday the Saudi Minister of Health Abdullah al-Rabia. Only 73 cases of swine flu, including five deaths were recorded among the faithful. Four of the five victims were aged over 70 years. They all suffer from serious diseases. In total, some 2.3 million pilgrims flocked to Mecca during one week. Sunday, the eve of the official end of the pilgrimage, the faithful began to quietly leave the holy city.

Tempurpedic Cause Shoulder Pain

Out of crisis?

by Jacques Fremaux.

The Financial Times of 12 November estimated that the hole that undermines the global economy may be filled by a resolute policy of investment by the strongest Western governments who dig their deficits. The limit of this exercise is that this proactive policy must be backed by business investment and personal loans. But today, consumers are now anxious and prefer to reduce their debts.

In Moneynews, Harvard professor Niall Ferguson is concerned that the public investment policy creates a bubble of debt, "the financial crisis could turn into a crisis of debt."

In Basel, the headquarters of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS °, Jean-Claude Trichet remains vigilant: "The situation is very complex with a large number of parameters to take into consideration." Central bankers are "very very confident that under the current circumstances, there remains a large number of risks. "Mark Deen, Chairman of the Financial Stability Board believes that:" the world's largest banks continue to be too optimistic about the state of their own finances and public authorities should be cautious rather than allow them to exit programs government support. The Times of London quotes the governor of the Bank of England Mervyn King: "It will be a long hard road to find the activity level before the crisis," Furthermore, unemployment continues to rise, a young in five is now unemployed.

For Neil Irwin The Washington Post, the crisis is not imminent in the United States. Improved indices of industrial production is very low probably because of unemployment, which squats and consumer reluctance to buy. The National Association of Manufacturers is concerned still struggling to get credit for their projects and ongoing uncertainty about the value of the stock. With 200,000 jobs lost in October, the U.S. unemployment rate is 11% and no improvement is expected before 2011. The jobs crisis is the very source of the anemia of economic growth and development of government deficits with a serious risk of bank failures and development of protectionism.

November 15 in Singapore, Obama has said "The recession we have just come out clearly taught us that we could not depend on American consumers to lead the economic development of the world "before announcing that the future prosperity depend on a strategy where the U.S. would consume less and export more.

Stephanie Flanders, editor in chief of the service economy of the BBC, wondered if we should not find a new name to describe the type of economy we live in today. Ironically, when we celebrate the end of communism, this year after capitalism has nearly succumbed. It turns out that the market is much more dangerous than imagined and incapable of regulating itself. The improvements of the situation is due to public investment. United States without federal money, the economy is still in recession. Like many critics, Flanders underlines the interest of the book by John Cassidy: "How markets are falling: the logic of economic calamity." Conclusion for the moment we live: "Everyone agrees today, unless the rules of the game are changing in fundamental ways, this is not capitalism that we have today. Especially for the banks! Do you have ideas for a new name? "

POST SCRIPT:

text on "What questions should we ask Tariq Ramadan on the compatibility between Islam and human rights":

If one wants to Tariq Ramadan in difficulty, one must ask how it proceeds to "humanize" the explicit and prescriptive verses like "all those regarding inheritance and corporal punishment" for ijtihad which is forbidden, for example, that ordering the believers to cut the hands of thieves.
can also ask him how he proceeds to reconcile democracy with the verse of the Qur'an Allah refers to as the legislator, Al Akhim, who has the best judgments
... For indeed, as if the remark Dominique Urvoy, states become "Islamic" immediately engage the severed hands punishment, it is no coincidence is that this verse is not an option but an order, the only mitigation is a hadith which does not apply this punishment when the flight is less than a quarter of a dinar.
On the legacy he has partially responded by saying he is trying to offset the effects of explicit verses: he would have found at last? It is

cons quite ridiculous to blame him for positions "reactionaries" on a particular social issue, since the position it is Islamic law according to "scholars of Islam "and not that of poets in any creative Islam that is personal: would you ask a French philosopher how to reform the French law, no one asks to law professors in our universities preferably ...

Topic: The Way of exegesis is she open? "

Summary of issue :

LIES ON THE INTERPRETATION OF ISLAM
The debate
Delcambre - Hussein - Ennaji as it was presented by Brice Couturier was highly distorted from the outset, more Anne-Marie Delcambre could not speak except for a few minutes ...
theme, exegesis the Koran, was immediately distorted by the presentation through a chronology of scholars, without any mention of the field, purpose, and reception of such exegesis. In other words Brice Couturier announced that the interpretation of the Koran is possible and scalable. At the end of the show for that matter, his colleague said that the debate that would close in 30 years (!) ... Anne-Marie Delcambre
tried it to focus on the content of the text and what he said himself on his understanding (Quran 3 / 7). Only his opponent immediately found a way that can work to an audience who does not know Islam: he complained to Anne-Marie Delcambre quote the text, based on the texts, saying she was "like the Islamists ATMs Materials.
is a ridiculous argument, of course: because obviously, if the texts were not there and were not what they are, it would be much easier to make them say the opposite of what they say, obviously without the Koran, the Sunna and Sira, it would be much easier for intellectuals to "find an Islam lights, recess if the 40 Hadiths of Nawani were not on sale in Islamic bookstores and even public libraries in the whole cell radius by Islam, it would be much easier for these intellectuals to convince non-Muslims as Muslims that "Islam" can rhyme with "Enlightenment" as "Christianity" with "love" ...
observe in passing that person in the world right-thinking ventures to make Islam not just rhyme with "Lights" but with "love" and for good reason: if one finds among the Enlightenment philosophers of the same abuse that the Koran against some religions and some people, it would be hard to link the word "love" to Islam because it is not once in the Koran, the word Jerusalem, for that matter.
When Anne-Marie Delcambre said the closure is in the texts themselves and talk about their legal nature, it has unfortunately not enough time to explain. She did not have time to explain it Islam is in the rules of interpretation and a hierarchy of sources, as in straight, with first the Koran, the Sunna second, etc., and therefore, complain of "Islamists" to refer to verses Quran is a blatant lie about the content of texts and Islamic history, history in which all the "exegesis" and "ijtihad" in fact exercised by the ulama, have been taken from the texts themselves ourselves and not outside of these texts. From
exegesis 'Islamists' make and unlike what one has, are advocates against supporters of a reduction in the case of a "taqlid" (an imitation of previous judicial decisions), which would make sharia unadaptable realities of life today. The Islamists want them reading of Islam shows that it is applicable here and now the whole world and modern realities, they will not settle for a reduced reading to matters dealt with by lawyers country long remained independent but economically backward area or left by the colonizers to cadis whose power was confined to matters of "personal . No, they want to "Islamization of modernity, modernity to comply with sharia, the way of God, addressing all the issues, reviewing all the arguments, but always, absolutely always based on texts from" Allah and his prophet. " So this
ijtihad (which the authors call such "reformist" Muslims living writing for this relatively new phenomenon of Islamic minority, and Europe), not based on any philosophical reading fantasy and poetic texts, but, on the texts themselves and their logical reading a rigorous logic of Jurists. A Reading can be creative, but limited points from the "facts" of reality of current practice, but never against the clear logic of texts, because this would be pure blasphemy. It is also primarily a scholarly reading of texts, a reading by lawyers who not only know the Koran by heart almost, but also thoughts and comments of their predecessors, and all matters of principle and practice that 'they have already solved. The opposite of rantings of "new Muslim philosophers" devoid of any reference to this thought, as indeed their opponents nicknames which all knowledge can be summarized by reading their books apologetic.
Knowing this, we see that the idea of a moratorium on stoning of Tariq Ramadan is a "non-blameworthy innovation" because it conforms to the rule that is applied in Islam taking into account its ultimate goal, namely that the law of Allah reigns over the world, and therefore, the proposal of Ramadan is entirely consistent with the duty of Muslims to break down barriers to Islam, the number which are the horror stoning among non-Muslims. Tariq Ramadan not said anything contrary to his brother, who explains that stoning purified, Tariq Ramadan, only requests from scholars consider the time factor to accustom the Western idea ...
scholarly reading of Islam and is therefore remained bounded and limited by the plain meaning of certain orders of Allah, and reports highlighted by scholars over the centuries between the texts (Qur'an, sunna, sira, context of the descent of verses ...) that give precise meaning to the orders, prohibitions, recommendations and blame those supposed to be god and his way (Shariah).
Now these orders contain and still contain the "unequivocal verses" advocating the subjugation or killing non-Muslims, women and apostates.
is why we must denounce Islam for the good of everyone, including Muslims.

Paris, October 19, 2009

Italian Embassy in Paris
51, rue de Varenne 75343 PARIS CEDEX 07

Open Letter to Giovanni Caracciolo di Vietri and Roberto Maroni, Ambassador and Minister of Interior of the Italian Republic.

Excellency, Mr. Minister.

We are writing to you so you mean that your country is being threatened characterized from a French Muslim institution, the Union of Islamic Organisations of France (UOIF), a component of the French Council of Muslim Faith (CFCM).

Indeed, at the 26th Meeting of the Muslims of France, which took place from 10 to 13 April 2009 at Le Bourget, the "doctor" Tareq Suwaidan invited to lecture on The Prophet Muhammad: a model for Humanity has expressly directed the large audience to remember a prophecy of Muhammad, founder of Islam.

This is a subject [1] reported by the prophet told his companions in the Hadith (Tradition Sunnah or Islamic), a major source after the Quran, the Sharia (Islamic Law). Muhammad had indeed announced that the conquest of Rome would follow that of Constantinople, first prophecy already achieved in 1453 in a bloodbath as you know.

During the meeting at Le Bourget, major event for the Muslim community based in France, Tareq Suwaidan sparked loud applause when he called on tens of thousands of Muslims attending does not hide this prophecy, and thus make it live . From this "doctor" openly supporting Hamas and calling for Israel to remove, it is worrisome.

Asked recently about this matter in a book of interviews [2] published by the publisher Albin Michel, Imam Tariq Oubrou of Bordeaux, under the UOIF present at Le Bourget alongside Suwaidan, could not challenge the existence of this "prophecy". To try to reassure the public, the imam spoke an episode that could take the form of a "mere presence peaceful" presence control "[3]>".

We can only have very serious doubts about the democratic and "peaceful" a territorial conquest announced. We

, academics, Islamic scholars, Arabists, alerting many years the French government in our books, conferences and media interventions, the nature of the UOIF disturbing, coming from the school of thought of the Muslim Brotherhood , as is the UCOII Italy. Not only the French government takes no actions to contain this radical movement, but worse, it granted French citizenship to many of his foreign officials for 25 years.

More worryingly, the current presidential majority, through town halls managed by its members, facilitated the acquisition of land for construction of large mosques in the cities of Bordeaux, Mulhouse, Woippy and many others. Public land available often without consideration of rent, when it is not direct funding of parties 'cultural'. The opposition Socialist uses the same methods, including Nantes and Poitiers, a city symbolic

We go to Italy for two reasons:

- Because we seem to cry in the wilderness, writing thousands of pages, by intervening in the media to a null result, while taking obvious risks.

- Because, as Europeans or Latin-speaking Christians of the Arab East, Rome is for us a source of our roots in addition to housing the Vatican clearly covered by these Islamists.

For all these reasons, we hope you will grasp the seriousness of the threat to our common civilization and that you will intervene with the French government to ask him if he will let the Islamists quietly fomenting the invasion of your territory, already begun to judge public prayer on the Piazza Vittorio Emanuele in Rome last September 20.

Daughter Has Yellow Goop In Her Eyes

Exhibition - Women in the turmoil of the 1940 Paris Grand

By Liesel Schiffer.

Place memory in Montparnasse.

It is significant to have to climb the heights of the Montparnasse train station to enter the Memorial du Marechal Leclerc which also houses the Museum Jean Moulin. Emerging from the bustling city, we are suddenly plunged into the ugly 70's architecture, fortunately softened by a large garden perched where Parisians come to play, flirt, relax under the trees. This lock provides peace of mind going into places in the mind alert, emotionally intact to plunge into the atmosphere of the big story. Jean Moulin liked the neighborhood but it is also where General Leclerc establishes his command post August 25, 1944 and that General von Choltitz signed the order to cease-fire.

"From green to blue gray RAF, between mice and women of the shadows"
Galliera museum exhibition outside its walls is proposed to draw a portrait of Paris from 1940 to 1944 multiple forces. Direct Recall of experiencing Nazis, a photo mural shows Hitler observing Paris from the Trocadero esplanade, during his only visit to the French capital, June 23, 1940. Parisiennes, we see the futile laugh that seems difficult times of this unique style zoot, these kinds of muscadins Wonderful and twentieth century large jackets and tousled hair. She dances, the index rose, on the melodies of Johnny Hess or humming "It was a swing of Jacques Pills, which can listen through headsets lying close to the window. There is cautious, her handbag with a compartment for a gas mask, follow the instructions of managers film in case of emergency and details before the curtain, in terms of shelter reserved for spectators of the French Comedy. Maybe this one will she cry as the projections of the "Golden City", "The Blue Veil" or shudder at the satanic faces Jules Berry in "Les Visiteurs du soir", as reminded by posters films. All demonstrate a wealth of imagination to remain attractive and mislead the face of arrogant occupant failing to find real, they dye their legs "colored silk stockings," improvise hats shavings, newsprint , crepe parchment or "tulle illusion" and, facing the loss of leather, of climb breathtaking wooden soles that give the appearance of shepherds on stilts. Daniel Cordier, Jean Moulin secretary, amused (*) in describing his meeting with Laure Diebold, the future companion of the liberation: "Indeed, the following Sunday, I saw a little lady, perched on high soles Wood who was walked, the sound of castanets! Astonishing for this character that embodies the soul of discretion. "The seamstress, if they do not renounce their holy Catherine, confectionnent funny headgear ration cards or purchasing coupons ... And if we surprised the elegant Hermes scarf extolling the values of the return to earth - he looks more like the light of Tintin graphic text that Emmanuel Berl, the negro's marshal - one is appalled by the ugliness of that other square silk printed portrait of the man who claimed tricolor "donate his person to France" at the time of defeat. Fortunately, the bags with false bottoms for smuggling and resistant setter of the first hour, reassure on certain commitments, such as scarves detailed maps of France to facilitate the task of parachute. The popularity of tartan and military reflects a desire not to forget those who, in the UK, chose to continue the fight. And especially poignant is the story of Lise London, the grande dame of the Resistance, who runs his achievements as an adventure perfectly natural ... remains the period of liberation, celebrated by all the lights and stars American. Benoite Groult, in his "Journal duet" (**) written with his sister Flora, also honors his way to the saviors of Europe from afar: "They say hello, we dance, we eat what ' they throw us - None of them knew that we were hungry - it says fondly of all-purpose words, there is a little emotional when they parted, God bless you, honey, they ask you a picture, they write once or twice, it meets two or three times and they are going to die live in Germany or in America. "

Assassination of a milliner, by Catherine Bernstein

In a screening room, a few chairs in front screens, tracks, over a documentary made by the niece of the heroine, destiny so tragically representative Fanny Bernstein. French Jewish, this pretty milliner in 1932 opened his shop at 4 rue Balzac, near the Champs Elysees. The evil star of Vichy laws to serve the project Semitic Nazi net stop this promising path. In 1940, an ordinance establishes the identification of Jewish businesses for arianiser. Thus in 1941 the young woman is imposing a director who sold his company to lower prices to a Catholic. Fanny has little time to consider finding another source of income. Arrested in September 1942 and shipped to Auschwitz in Poland, she was gassed. A small pink felt hat Tyrolean style fashionable at the time, testifies, poignantly, the creative talent of martyrdom. One among millions of others that we should not forget.

10. The book entitled: ad-durar did sanniyya fi al-adjwiba year -nadjdiyya it compiled by Shaykh Abd al-Rahman ibn Qasim (may Allah the Almighty have mercy on him).

11. The book entitled al-Durr-fi mundjiyya aqidatil firqa mardhiyya al-Ahmad ibn Muhammad as-Safarini al-Hanbali. This book contains some general statements contrary to the doctrine of the Salaf. Is the case with these words: "Our Lord is not an accident either gasoline or body." Exalted be He.

Therefore the seeker of knowledge must study with a master with a deep understanding of the doctrine of the Salaf explained to him that the general assertions contrary to the doctrine of the Salaf.

Secondly, in terms of hadith

1. The book entitled Fath al-Baari Sharh Saheeh al-Bukhari by Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani (may Allaah have mercy on him).

2. The book called subulate as-Salam, al-Sharh Buloogh Maraam of San'ani. This book addresses both the Hadith that Islamic law.

3. The book entitled al-Nayl Awtar, Sharh al-akhbar of Mountaqa Shawkani

4. The book entitled al-Ahkam Ummahat of Maqdisi. This is an abridged most hadith are quoted in both Sahih. What does one need not verify their authenticity.

5. The book entitled Al-Arbain year-Nawawiyya Abu Zakariyya al-Nawawi (may Allaah Alla grant His mercy).

is a good book because it contains rules of conduct and a good methodology, and contains rules (moral) as very useful: "The good adherence to Islam a person is reflected in its abandoning what does not concern him. (Narrated by Imam Ahmad, 1.201) and al-Tirmidhi (2318) and said "beautiful" by al-Nawawi in Riyaadh-Salihin, 73 saheeh by Ahmad Shakir in al-Musnad, 1737.

's a rule of life that you would if you are able to impose it. There is even one on the floor and made in these terms: "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day speak well. If not keep silent "(Narrated by Bukhari in: book on the rules (of conduct) and Muslim in: book on the wreck, the chapter on hospitality).

6. The book entitled al-Maram Buloogh Hafiz Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani. The book is very useful especially because it mentions the narrators, and cites those who have found the authentic hadith and those who felt weak and said the hadith is the sense of their authentication or that of their decay.

7. The book entitled Noukhbat al-Hafiz ibn Hajar Fikar al-Asqalani. It a general book. If the seeker of knowledge understands, he can dispense with the reading of many other books on the criticism of hadith. Ibn Adjar (may Allah have mercy on him) adopted a very useful method in the writing of the book. It involves a process of elimination. The researcher who found the bed because the stimulus excites the desire intellectual style. I say: it is the seeker of knowledge to learn by heart because of its great usefulness in the field of rules of criticism of the hadith.

8. The six books: Saheeh Bukhari, Saheeh Muslim, Sunan Nasser, Sunan Abu Dawood, Sunan Ibn Maajah, Sunan Tirmidhi.

I read them often advises the seeker of knowledge because it provides two benefits. The first is the homecoming, and the second in the repetition of names of men (the traditionalists).

dint of repeating the names, we finally recognize the names of the reporters cited by Bukhari so as to identify them wherever they are found elsewhere, which is an advantage in this area.

Third, in terms of Islamic law:

1. The book entitled al-Adaab Mashy ila salat as-Shaykh al-Islam Muhammad ibn al-Add Wakhab (may Allah Most High have mercy on him)

2. The book entitled: Zad al-mustaqn'a ikhtissal fi al-muqni of Hadjdjawi. One of the best texts of fiqh. It is a book, brief and blessed. Our master, the scholar Sheikh Abdul Rahman as-Sa'di (may Allaah have mercy on him) we recommended memorization. Yet he himself had memorized the text entitled: Dalil did talib.

3. The book titled al-ar-Rawdha Murb; Sharh Zad al-mustaqn'a Sheikh Mansour al-Bahout.

5. The book al-ilm al Ussol Ussol min. This is an abridged that opens the door to the student.

Fourth, in terms of inheritance system:

1. The book entitled Matn ar-Rahabiyya Rahab

2. The book entitled al-Matn Barhaniyya Muhammad al-Barhan. It is a very useful short-General in his field. I think this book is more general than the previous one and contains more extensive knowledge on the other.

Fifth, in terms of exegesis.

1. The book: Tafsir al-Qur'an al-Azim Ibn Katheer (may Allaah have mercy on him). It a very useful book in the field of exegesis based on tradition. It is the safest, although rarely does the grammatical and philological aspects.

2. The book, entitled Tayseer al-Kareem al-Rahman fi Tafsir al-Mannan Kalami of Sheikh Abd Rahman as-Sa'di (Puissen Allaah have mercy on him). It is a useful book, easy and secure. And I recommend it.

3. The book entitled Muqaddimah Shaykh al Islam fi tafsir which has a good introduction.

4. The book entitled al-Bayan Adhwa scholar Muhammad al-Shanqeeti (may Allaah have mercy on him). It is a comprehensive book covering the hadith, Islamic law and jurisprudence.

Sixth General books on some subjects.

1. Grammar: al-matn adjroumiyya. An abstract simplified.

2. Grammar: alfiyya Ibn Maalik. This is a summary of the essential material.

3. The biography of the Prophet. The best book I found in this area is Zad al-Ma'aad of Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allaah have mercy on him). It is a useful book that is a bibliography of the Prophet (peace hello and be upon him) who is interested in all aspects of his life and contains many provisions.

4. The book entitled al-Rawdat uqala of Ibn al-Hibbaan Bousti (may Allaah have mercy on him). It is a useful book although brief. He has collected a number of lessons and traditions received from scholars, traditionalists and others.

5. The book entitled Siyar a'alam year-Nouabalé of Dhahabi. This book is very useful and the seeker of knowledge must be obtained and studied.

The Koranic quotations trap

May 15th, 2007 by ajmch

Typically, Spengler is a very talented and insightful commentator - particularly its approach to the Arab civilization through the prism of his poetry and his letters. But also seems afflicted by a decline sadly very common before the examination of Koranic texts. Thus, his spats with virtual Robert Spencer, director of Jihad Watch, not to his advantage.

In summary, Spengler argues complexity fuzzy: it would be possible to get the best and the worst of Koranic scripture, just based on what you want to find. This view is widespread and seems plausible novice instinctively. Indeed, it is naturally possible to search in a targeted way of Islamic scripture passages that support or undermine the point of view. It is within the reach of everyone and it is likely that this is the rule in Islam, since the children received their beliefs long before being capable of discernment.

But what about an objective approach - consideration of all the texts he confirms this intuitive views? And if this is not the case, if an honest consideration of Islamic scriptures clearly produces a result-oriented, which of the two approaches (objective / subjective) is compelling? At a time when Islam is so important in the world, these issues can they be left open? And how, if any, best meet them?

An example: Mohammed is supposed to be forbidden to kill a monk in prayer, or women and children. But he also made conflicting statements, that the enemy is seen as a compact, undifferentiated, and himself, the sources said, had used weapons without any differentiation killing women, children and people in prayer. An objective mind which seeks to deduce the laws of these writings will probably conclude that it is forbidden to kill women, children and monks ... except in certain circumstances, there needs to be examining the context. It will then decide how emergency situations can define principles applicable in the here and now.

This process quickly became college, is that of Islamic law. He consistently produces laws justifying and glorifying the war against the infidels until the world domination, religious segregation and sexual abuse, corporal punishment in public places and all sorts of legal processes uncodified, referring to faith in Allah and promises in the Koran. No college has never contradicted these principles in the name of Islamic scriptures. It is simply no substance to it.

importantly, we are here in the realm of faith and scholars, in the final analysis, simply assert that compliance with Islamic precepts product by definition a perfect society. It is therefore legitimate to defend and spread this society, whose members aware of the quality and importance of this project will willingly upon himself to suffer the punishment in question to purify the community of his personal wanderings. Thus, the thief is so glad he cut his hand, because it heals the sin, gives him a better chance before God, the unfaithful wife want to be stoned, because it exorcised the harmful aspect of his act and reinforces the moral qualities of society.

Hence it is clear that the objective examination of all entries, by scientists, product, outwardly, a conqueror and imperialist project, which justifies the violence and mass murder in the name of faith Islamic and inward, a social ideal rigid and totalitarian, who says the least sacred gestures of daily life and controls without pity. Certainly, scholars, jurists, are a minority, but an acquired company to Islam this minority is invariably in power (even if only to legal and legislative) and its influence is incomparably greater than that of people who simply choose in scripture passages that appeal to their subjective beliefs. For these exceptions, never go far in the hierarchy of an Islamic society.

other hand, scientists are aided here by the extremists, people who look to the scriptures enough to justify their thirst for crime. And this in two ways: First, the extremists are intimidating (or shoot) the supporters of a free society and Pacific, which favors the position of targets connoisseurs of entries, which can say with a kind of perverse reason, that only the greatest respect for Islamic law puts people away from danger in this world and the other . And extremists, when exaggerate and create chaos, can easily be treated by simple criminals ignorant lawyers, recognized by holders of the truth of the scriptures condemn their actions and call, once again, to more respect for true laws of Islam.

It should also be noted that if the extremists are also a small minority, their lack of inhibition before the violence gives them a considerable personal power over their surroundings. And of course they can be retrieved, used, armed, amplified by power-hungry people.

Thus, ultimately, the fact that it is certainly possible to delude ourselves about the nature of Islam in one way or another, did not matter to the reality of the phenomenon. Just as the Islamic scriptures are widespread among a literate population and credulous, to reproduce the pattern they describe (permanent war, civil unrest, unproductive, non-creativity). Entries Islamic are actually a trap, but not the one we depicted Spengler.

India to Islam

January 16, 2009
secular trauma imposed on India by Islamism is a key to the future of world politics

You can listen to the recording of this column on his link Standing on the site of Light 101.

The importance of India in the future of the world can less and less obvious to anyone who scrutinizes so little changes. And we begin to imagine the need by the biggest boom this country has emerged between 1996 and 2004, when Atal Bihari Vajpayee and his Hindu nationalist party (BJP and Janata), influencing the central government, were able to clear largely the legacy of 50 years of socialist government monopoly of the Congress Party. This aspect

political, cultural and even religious fundamentally can not be retracted immediately, whatever the dominant secularism which distorts the vision of our state observers.

From such myopia is not unlike suspect the Vatican diplomacy. Both the Pope himself Cardinal Tauran as President of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue have marked in October 2008 while their interest in dialogue with this ancient culture. "Christians and Hindus: Together in favor of non-violence": This message was sent to Hindus worldwide to mark the festival of Diwali. "As Hindus and Christians, especially in the current situation, let us be overwhelmed by love without reserve, with the conviction that nonviolence is the only way to build a global society more compassionate, more just and Careful. " For its part the Roman pontiff said "in my message during the recent celebration of Diwali, I wanted to reaffirm the need for Christians and Hindus work together in the light of common principles of nonviolence. "

Note that the attacks in Bombay in late November have inspired no such statements because they correspond to this festival of lights and freedom found last year celebrated on 28 October by our distant cousins.

few words about the ancient epic narrated as a myth by the Ramayana. A demon (Ravana) was abducted Sita wife of Lord Rama, required for an avatar of Vishnu but whose reign brought historic peace and happiness, a thousand years before the Trojan War. Rama, with several companions, was able to rescue the princess. They returned to the kingdom of Ayodhya, as night fell. As their loyal subjects they deposited oil lamps on the roadside. And this tradition is repeated each year during the new moon of November. On this occasion it also honors Ganesha and Lakshmi, goddess of prosperity. Vishnu the protector, has taken possession of Earth, Ocean and Heaven. All Hindu homes are then filled with oil lamps, leaving no place in the dark. This is the way the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, of truth over falsehood.

The pontifical council ignores the less this tradition that the stresses in this way:
"Non-violence is one of the most important teachings of the Hindu tradition. Mahatma Gandhi, Father of Indian Nation is respected and held in high regard by people of different generations around the world for his complete dedication to serving humanity. During its struggle for freedom, he realized that 'an eye for eye and the whole world blind. " Throughout his life, he developed, among others, the concept of Ahimsa (nonviolence). He remains a model of non-violence because he did not hesitate to set an example by sacrificing his life rather than take the path of violence.

Nonviolence is not merely a tactical maneuver, but the attitude of one who, in the words of Benedict XVI, is so convinced of God's love and power, he is not afraid to tackle evil with the weapons of love and truth.
But the wording of this noble certainty does not fit a certain Jesuit, Father German Christian Troll, which is present for one of the most influential Islamic scholars in the Catholic world.

Father Troll said he met in India a lot of Christian and Muslim leaders, bishops, priests, teachers and directors of seminaries, teachers and leaders of Islamic schools. And, to his great disappointment, person, or neither among Catholics in the Indian Muslim community, had done anything to publicize the letter of the 138 representatives of Islam who, after the Regensburg speech in 2006 and the subsequent unrest had proposed a dialogue with the Roman Church. And nobody taking the time to engage in any on-site meeting.

"All this is tragic," said Father Troll. And here is his conclusion:
"In India, Christians and Muslims are minorities: more reason for them to live in harmony. It is therefore of fundamental importance that the initiatives of high-level dialogue, involving a significant number of Christian and Muslim leaders, are known in layers of increasingly large communities of both religions. Beautiful Statements internationally raise expectations. But if they are not implemented, if we do not strive to make at least that the results will be frustration and ridicule. "
Let me remind the distant son of Ignatius of Loyola a number of reality on the trauma suffered by India on the occasion of his contact with Islam.

Here's how a man I keep the best memory, Alain Danielou (1), brother of Cardinal sums up this relationship in his History of India: "There was naturally interludes, as 'good' Caliphs, but the destructive fanaticism always said finally over. "

I return to the violence suffered by thousands of India, far more serious.

An estimate university estimates that the eleventh the sixteenth centuries, from AD 1000 to the year 1525, 80 million Hindus were killed by Muslim repression not to mention famines and other natural disasters caused by war.

In 1000 the Islamic conquest of Afghanistan was followed by the destruction of the entire Hindu population of this region. The name "Hindu Kush" still means the massacre of Hindus.

The Bahmani sultans Turks, who ruled the Deccan from 1347 to 1425, had set an annual quota of 100,000 Hindus.

In the year 1399, the Turco-Mongol Tamerlane would be put to death in cold blood in one day 100,000 Hindu prisoners when shooting in Delhi. The heads of the victims were piled in huge pyramids.

Afterwards, a number of Hindus embraced Islam to escape death.

Whatever the validity of the figures, we can say that the Muslim sources suggest the conviction of the legitimacy of such feats, and as the object of boasting for authors who go elsewhere for poets, scholars, sages.

But another even better explains how the Father Troll and his friends are wrong, and how heavily, in their desire to make a common front between minority Muslims and Christians, and about how their contradicts that of the Gospel, "Go and preach all nations."

Indian Nation is no exception: how to address it if it comes to terms with those who intend to destroy it and openly about the subject, and secondly prohibit any missionary activity among them?

Across the Indian subcontinent continues the persecution of Hindus even today, as she had kept the English era.

In 1825 the Kashmir Valley had 3 million Hindus. In the early twentieth century they had risen to 1 million. The 250,000 who remained still until the last few years have fled the land of their ancestors, because of the terrorist campaigns of Muslim separatists.

In Afghanistan, the Islamists, when they took power drove the 50,000 Hindus in the country yet.

Everywhere Hindu minorities are oppressed in Muslim countries in Asia, in both Bangladesh and Pakistan, where pogroms alternate with the destruction of temples. Taslima Nasreen's writes in his book "Shame".

But achieving the most incredible deals on collective memory. It is comparable to that which still prevails in Turkey.

But what underlines the Belgian historian Koenraad Elst, about denial of Muslim atrocities in India highlights the role of Indian Marxists in this denial. In this the "strategies" Father Troll and all leftist fringe of Catholicism within a well known registry.

The former leader of international communism and dared Manabendra Nath Roy set the tone when he said:
"Islam has fulfilled a mission in India and that of egalitarianism that he was well received by the scheduled castes. C That was a question of class struggle altogether justified between progressive forces (the Muslims) and the feudal forces (high-caste Hindus). "
Jawharlal Nehru said:
"Architecture fascinated Mahmud Ghazni and was very impressed by the city of Mathura, where there were thousands of buildings to the glory of God. Mahmud was not a religious man, he was a Muslim, but it ' was secondary, primarily because it was a brilliant soldier and a warrior. "
But, in fact architecture Ghazni has mostly razed thousands of temples, particularly those in the city of Mathura, regarded by Hindus as the birthplace of Krishna.

From Baku Congress, following Manabendra Nath Roy, a whole generation of Indians began in the wake of the Soviet Union.
And Nehru
to power with the Congress party will largely Soviet policy.

Alain Danielou wrote:
"Congress was attacking Hindus everywhere trying to ridicule them, greatly exaggerating the stories of untouchability, worship cows, etc.."
Within the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi was built as the myth of the wicked Brahmins and untouchables good, especially the excellent and delicious Mughal. Of national oppression is an attempt to class conflict. Muslims have thus "freed the scheduled castes by giving them access to Islam."

The redoubtable Romila Thapar goes further. In his History of India, published by Penguin for all the hippies of the world, she writes:
"The supposed intolerance of Aurangzeb is nothing other than a hostile legend based on a few scattered acts as the erection of a mosque on a temple in Varanasi. "

The number of such destruction is in the thousands.

The official chronicles of his court and the claim
"Aurangzeb ordered all provincial governors to destroy all the temples and all schools of the pagans and to dramatically end all pagan teachings and practices.

Hasan Ali Khan, governor of Jodhpur (Rajasthan), wrote to Aurangzeb that 172 temples were destroyed in his district ... His Majesty went the next day to Chittor and 63 temples were razed ... Abu Darab ordered to destroy the temples of idols Amber, informed the emperor that he had already shaved 66 of them in his district ...

Ahmed Khan had informed His Majesty that 2000 Hindus were executed because they continued their religious abominations. "
were decapitated Tegh Bahadur Sikh master because he protested against the forced conversions of Aurangzeb.

The brother of the Emperor, Dara Shikoh, was executed for being interested in Hindu religion.

At Aligarh, important university for the majority of Muslims with the consent of the English were designed several militant Islamic movement and the 1930s the idea of a separate state for Muslims who became Pakistan.

But also under the influence of such Mohamed Habib, from 1920 to Muslim historians, attempted to misrepresent the history of India by imposing a number of shots

1) chronicles and biographies praising the massacres Hindus, the enslavement of women and children, and destruction of their temples, "were mostly exaggerations of court poets.
<2) Les atrocités indiscutables devaient être imputées aux seuls Turcs, "sauvages venus des steppes".
3) The cause of the destruction of Hindu temples was the result of what they "were full of gold and silver and that naturally Muslim armies looted.
4) The conversion of Hindus to Islam due to the fact that "the population, itself, decided to choose the Hindu smriti against the Sharia because they were all oppressed by the Brahmins ..."

Quite different is the reality, as Gautier said in his book "A Different Perspective on India"
"The Muslim invaders were thoroughly documented the massacre of the Hindus because they were always confident they were doing their duty. Mahmud Ghazni

(997-1030) for example, was not a barbarian from the steppes, although he was Turkish, and was a patron of the arts and literature, who recited verses from the Koran every night after having killed his share of infidels and razed the temples of the pagans.

Tughlak Firuz Shah (1351-1388) mentioned above was also known for his piety: 'The day of the great Hindu festival, I went there myself and I not only ordered the execution priests, but also of all practitioners this abomination ... I destroyed their temples and built mosques in their place. "

Babur example, this monster who killed hundreds of thousands of Hindus and razed thousands of temples, is a gentle hero at the hands of the author

Babur in his memoirs admits frankly do not like India ... It prefer to isolate themselves in the gardens built there, with their geometric design and cross channels, which evoke the rivers of paradise. Sri Aurobindo
wrote in 1909:
"Any action that might raise an objection in a number of Muslims is now facing a possible ban ... on the pretext that it risks disrupt public order, and you begin to wonder if we will not come one day to ban worship in Hindu temples in this ground so valuable.
"The cruel history of the Muslim invasion of India, which was followed by a massive genocide and taking into slavery of millions of Hindus is not well known in the world, particularly in the West, where history of India is not considered very important. Some would prefer it did not exist at all or that the scale of atrocities was insignificant, or even the intentions of the Muslims were not converted, but only military conquest. Others argue that this episode in the past, we should remember to preserve harmony secularizing of India. "
Suhas Majumdar Indian writer in his book Jihad, the Islamic doctrine of permanent war also wrote:
" What you should understand is that even today ordinary Muslims always takes literally the message of the Koran, although it was made 1400 years ago in the words and customs of his time and n was not adapted to modern requirements. "
In Pakistan for instance, says Francois Gautier yet,
" The madrassas (Islamic schools) sponsored by Saudi Arabia spawned the Taliban movement which claims the application of Sharia law in its strictest form: the prohibition of women working, amputations, beheadings and above jihad against the infidel. "
The Great Calcutta killings in 1946, which preceded the partition , made the following public statement of Mohammed Usman, the mayor of Calcutta
"It was during this holy month of Ramadan that the war between Muslims and kafirs (infidels) took off. It was during this month as we entered Mecca victorious and have annihilated idolatry. By the will of Allah, the Muslim League (Indian) chose that month to begin jihad which should lead to the creation of Pakistan. "
" Go lightly armed, said the Koran Sura 9, prepare an ambush with your life and try to preserve the way of Allah. "

These arms are the heavy deformation of history and the number of ambushes there will be misinformation propagated by Western complacent.

Notes 1. About Alain Danielou here let me digress for a moment: in the past j had it done on a specific antenna, now captive and denatured with him about India and its exciting Shiva and Dionysus Jean-Claude Carriere on his magnificent Mahabharata, and on another occasion with the Ambassador of India in emissions that managers have been through the tapes. I therefore appeal to whoever possesses a copy of such records sound widely traded in their time good enough to communicate so as to make them downloadable free of charge on Light 101 because I do not count on justice administers the republic to recognize my right front ten or fifteen years, that is to say, before the tapes are permanently unusable.
